Abstract:
Debt crisis in which some of the EU Member States found themselves became a setting stone for the further development of the Union. Finding ways to recover the economies of these Member States is a challenging task that requires uneasy answers that should secure the future of the Union as a whole. These tasks are not always easy to consider.
This paper examines different proposals that were brought to solve debt crisis of the Member States, and their analysis in accordance with Community law. It further examines how these proposals were reflected in public eyes and if there is a shift in the reasons for the existence of the European Union as well as whether that should be considered as a threat to its future.
